#Israel / US imposes sanctions on Israeli group that attacked Gaza aid
The US has imposed sanctions on an Israeli group called Tsav 9, which is accused of attacking humanitarian aid convoys bound for #Gaza. The sanctions were imposed under an executive order signed by President Joe #Biden in February, which targets individuals and entities that threaten the peace and stability of the occupied West Bank.
[…] The sanctions target Tsav 9, a group with ties to Israeli army reservists and Jewish settlers in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, over activities including blocking, harassing and damaging aid shipments.

"Today I arrived at the #Tarkumia crossing along with the Humanitarian Guard, after we received warnings about attempts to block aid trucks by the far-right. To our delight, the blockades did not succeed and the trucks reached their destination, but this is a glaring warning sign. We will be there as needed to ensure that food trucks reach the civilian population in the Gaza Strip."
