We don't handle sports cards; but, we do handle books produced with sports cards inside!
These, from '90/'91 contain mini-bios of pro athletes' chilhoods. The last 5 pages of each are printed on perforated card-stock, 9 cards/page, with youth photos on front and stats on back. Collect the complete set!

    It's Dayton Airshow weekend!
    I shot this photo during Friday practice. I'm zoomed in all the way, the planes are fast, the air is hazy, the heat distorts the light... A rather challenging photo session.

    This old bookrack – frail, but still in use – is in the earliest photos from the shop. 80+ year old retailer bookshelves. I've never really stopped to appreciate them in this aspect. Through the years, we've lost a few to wear and this one's fading. There are 5 more still in use, thankfully in better condition.

    Stranger was the 1st sci-fi to make the NYT bestseller list. It begins on dry Mars, ends on green Earth.

    Dune won the 1st Nebula award, was nearly set on Mars. It begins on green Caladan & ends on dry Arrakis.

    Both won the Hugo, dabble in differing lifestyles, politics, belief systems, the importance of water, & are waiting for you here, now.

    American art historian/collector uses his job as cover, & pays for his hobby performing hits for a secret gov't org.

    The Eiger Sanction was also a 1975 mountain-climbing action film produced, starring, & dir. by Clint Eastwood, who did most of his own stunts.

    Even Nostradamus didn't predict I'd spend so much time 2024 with Westerns, Horseback Riding, Harness Racing, & Horse Care. I rode a horse once–part of Summer camp, a Scout badge, or something like that... My jam is sci-fi. Maybe it's time I rewatch that space Western series, Firefly.
