#US / Child of Famed Jewish Family Funded Pro-Palestinian Protests
A significant amount of funding for anti-war activist groups involved in recent campus protests in the U.S. has come from the #BafrayungFund, controlled by Rachel Gelman, a 33-year-old from a prominent Jewish-American family.
The most revealing aspect of this story is the involvement of the Israeli-funded 'Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy.' Insisting that criticism of Israel's policies equates to antisemitism is a flawed tactic that will inevitably backfire. Labeling anti-war protests as merely "pro-Palestinian" or "anti-Israel" is a pathetic tool to dismiss their motivations, especially in light of the #ICJ and #ICC findings.

This is HUGE !
Listening to Amy Goodman's daily express on Dem Now ! this monday, I heard her saying something like that, I presumed I didn't listen well, but then she said she would name this Jewish family in the wednesday edition.
So it is actually true.
You have no idea how releaved I am to witness this level of understanding that shouting "wolf, wolf !" for anything anytime is dangerous, since when the wolf/antisemites are really gonna unveil, nobody will belieeve it anymore.
@MMRnmd it is, and it's sicking to see how cynical it has become.
Anyway, I think it's come out this way (apropos the Israel funded "Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy") to smear Biden by association with progressive donors,... but that's just my guess.
@oatmeal@MMRnmd@palestine@israel Many of the antiwar leaders are Jewish, so it is no surprise that a daughter of a wealthy Jewish family has donated to the antiwar movement. Pro-Israel groups now go after Jewish critics of Israeli policies accusing them of antisemitism. Listen to Simone Zimmerman. Her deep commitment to her Jewish community is both evident and moving. https://www.middleeasteye.net/video/why-young-jewish-americans-are-turning-israel
