I got Deus Ex. 1/3 the price.

Steam says it works with my controller, but I can't get it off keyboard/mouse controls.

Any thoughts?

@Uair @actuallyautistic Did you try to switch Steam to console mode?
Console mode changes how controllers are used.

I clicked on the "console" tab and got a black screen. I saw no way to do anything from that tab.

I looked up something, but it wanted me to overwrite the firmware on my paddle. I'm not attempting that.

My L stick is my audio control, up/down only. I'm baffled. The screen's unplayably dark anyway. I can't see the ground.

My machine is weird. Win10, but it won't run Fallout 3 or 4. It runs new vegas and skyrim. I got scammed by a walmart seller.

@Uair @actuallyautistic Ok, that's very much NOT what I was expecting to happen and no, I don't think you should flash your controller.
This sounds like a #windows problem, but I'm afraid I know little about it. =(
