abhibeckert , 1 month ago Um, did they actually do something impressive or is it just a really big gas tank? I'm struggling to imagine why anyone would even want 1,300 miles of range in a PHEV. Surely it'd be better to have a smaller tank and more space inside the vehicle.

Hildegarde , 1 month ago Its a 15 gallon tank, and testing methodology that doesn't reflect reality. The 2024 prius would get 750 miles according to the EPA's estimates if it had the same sized tank.
