Full HD is already perfectly fine for most people, so I can’t even imagine how great a bluray in 4k is. I’m still watching DVD’s and, as long as the movie is great, it’s perfectly enjoyable. Most people are watching Netflix which is apparently not giving you real full HD or 4k and people are not bothered. Innovation is great, but having a new format would create the need to have new equipment and create even more e-waste when we can’t manage it already.
