Complementary Colours

The cold cyan of the early morning contrasts with the orange tints of the rising sun. Mist clings to the slopes of Búlandstindur, and the waters of the fjord have a fragile ice crust at the shores.

The sky is pale cyan with blocks of dense cloud across a mountainous promontory on the right. A pointed mountain has a scarf of mist around it, but the peak is clear. At its foot are the dark waters of a still fjord. On the left is an icy shoreline with part of a road, on which the viewer is standing. It's very still, and calming.
