During his intense interview with journalist Yama Wolasmal, Israeli Government Spokesman David Mencer highlighted that "Jews face an unreasonable burden of proof" regarding the journalist's request for evidence of Israeli bombings of hospitals in #Gaza.
@faab64@palestine@israel Utterly failing to note that this burden of proof is literally defined in international law, not some conspiracy against them. Yes, the law does say that the fucking attacker does have the burden of proof that the target represented a direct military threat and that attacking it is proportionate and that if in doubt you cannot attack. He is literally saying that they feel unreasonably burdened by international law.
@faab64 Israel as the defender of the West or western values is laughable, considering the state if its politics in the last 20 years, overtaken by messianic Jews for whom the word “democracy” is a curse. But he also echos Orban, that’s not a complement. The same inferiority complex and self loathing.
@oatmeal
TBH Israel is what UK, France, Belgium, Spain and Italy were in the past.
The policies of Israel are the light version of what colonialists did in Africa, Oceana, Asia and Americas.
The only problem is that they are about a few centuries behind trying to implement those policies against "human animals" and "savages" "occupying" the land they believe it belongs to them.
The "civilized world". The hubris of the Western culture to still believe they are the only ones civilized. As if centuries of Roman Empire, Omeyad and Abbasid Califate, Ottoman Empire, that ruled over the Levant and Gaza, wasn't "civilization".
