What would you say if they had a big party with a lot of PR/marketing behind it;
"they're wasting all this money to have fun instead of making the product better"?
Few more places to consider if you're in lower mainland:
Freshco/Chalo if you have the option over Safeway/IGA (same stuff, cheaper, though produce isn't always super fresh).
Langley farm market for produce is great, often good deals and competes with big chains on prices on said produce, meat, not so much other stuff (again limited access depending on where exactly you live unfortunately).
I'd do Saveon only armed with price matching flyers or I'm after something very specific I can't find elsewhere. Plus I'm not a huge fan of Jim Patisson or whichever carguy owns it.
City avenue market is also pretty good for produce and the occasional offers for other stuff.
Very location specific - if you like a good bread, check out European bakery in Poco, awesome rye that would cost you 3times as much in some "artisan" bakery and still cheaper than semi decent loaf from big chains.
It turned out really great and tasty! Was a little worried when making it as I didn't have everything the recipe asked for. As it wanted a loaf pan with a lid(?) Have never seen such, but it worked fine without 😊...
When it comes to bread recipes I wouldn't worry too much about being precise at first, you kind of figure out what works best for you, with your tools and your oven, so take them as a general guidance.
If you like sourdough/rye bread, give them a try once you're comfortable. Getting your own starter started can take a bit of time (lost of good info out there about it), but once you get your first decent looking loaf done you'll feel like the king and queen of the world (I know I did).
That being said, you can go really nuts with the details with this, if you ever want to achieve your perfect loaf whatever it may be.
Popular among teenagers, the large electric bikes have triggered ‘numerous complaints’ to councils as fears grow for the safety of riders and pedestrians
Worse, they'll probably make people jump through unnecessary hoops (licensing, testing and so on) for people to use them and it will become out of reach for most, due to affordability.
I mean it would be great to have people educated on rules etc of course, but imho that should be something done as free public service.
Oh I got your point, which exactly leads to the fact that it would just become another enterprise to capitalise on, instead of banning anything, using shitty behaviour as an excuse to do so.
Edit; i.e. if you wanna ride a bike, well us politicians have decided that you need to do xyz first, but don't worry, my buddy offers x, my 2nd cousin does y and my wife actually has offers on z ATM. Don't look at us, it's because Billy over there didn't have his helmet on last year cu he's an asshole.
Do the same on back and be amazed how clean your back/neck/helmet stays too....it feels like whenever there is some crap on the roads/paths existing mudguards are just that little bit too short to be worth a damn
