I agree, but agile and scrum are not meant to be followed to the letter no matter what. So people are doing it right if they notice some part of the process should be changed to make it work for them.
i have a loooong list of things i'd expect in exchange. (freedom for uighurs, no harrassing neighbour regions/countries, stop cyberattacks, no supporting russia, etc. etc.)
I've posted previously and appreciate everyone and all the advice. As an update, I'm still without a job. IT in the Midwest area seems to be horrendously bad. I have friends out of work too, its not just me, but I'm over a year at this point....
My city is in the middle of the worst drought in recorded history. My showers are typically under 2 minutes and I have to shower with a bucket to catch otherwise wasted water to use to flush the toilet. I also shut the water down when I am wet enough so I can scrub myself without having unneeded water flowing then start it...
depends on region. my region has enough water. still, most people try to not waste it. water has to be treated before it goes back into nature and people understand it helps to minimize this process.
but it's more about the routine anyway. you get used to the movements you make in the shower, so the brain starts to trail off. doesn't mean you just stop moving and think. that usually only happens when you're traumatized or so.
same for me. it doesn't even save time or effort. it just really irritates, maybe even harms the skin on top of taking as much time as shaving anyway. it's so useless. can't recommend.
They should never have done it in the first place, but seeing how it takes them so long to kill mostly unarmed civilians doesn't exactly qualify them to attack another region, but whatever gets bibi to play the victim and the strong man at the same time and keeps his right wing friends happy, i guess.
it's irrelevant, because if they don't get killed, the people who sent them win and it will be proof for them and others this is a good tactic that works and should be repeated. by killing them you may save the next batch. by not killing them, you make it worse.
it may be helpful in some cases, but often plastic is so successful because it's not biodegradable. if insects, bacteria and fungi have a hard time eating through it, it's a container that can protect the contents from them. it's difficult to replace withpout losing that ability, especially when it is preferred to be transparent (as in see-through) as well
Although Lemmy's userbase is quite large,it still is small enough that I do often see the same people in comment sections. It feels though, that I should recognise more names, because I can only remember around 5 individual ones.
The russian war could be ended if China attacked from the other side, forcing russia to split its forces and China could take a gigantic chunk of land out of russia above Mongolia, crippling russia forever and encircling Mongolia, forcing all shipments not by air to Mongolia through China.
Well because Hanas is not a nation, not even officials of sorts. It's just some rando guerilla group that likes to abduct people and shoot missiles at people they can't beat.
anecdote: during the pandemic every day seemed the same. i sometimes forgot ro shower for a few days. so i put a water sensor in my shower. when i shower, it starts a macrodroid automation that records the date. another macro plans and reminds me when it's shower time.
if this is the case, it should be in your contract, you should get paid for on-call duty and get a free SIM and/or phone for those notifications, so you can mute or shutdown notifications from your private SIM/phone
considering the current state of the world and things like the resurgence of fascism and other authoritarian ideologies, do you think there is still a chance to avoid a new world war or now is unavoidable?
guys, be careful with these kind of sandals. more than once the front of the sole of mine got caught in something and i tripped. now i only buy those italian style sandals that have a piece going down the front.

if this even is propaganda (what is very controversial), it's the good kind; the kind that inspires people to be thankful for what has been passed down to them and to treat others with respect.
"let's drive through that wide flat area without cover and hundreds of craters. looks safe"
"oh no, the vehicle in front of me got destroyed by a powerful weapon, better keep driving past it, because that must have been their only round."
"oh no, my vehicle got hit as well, but it's unlikely they brought a 3rd round. i mean, come on."
"insted of running backwards to the tree and river, covered by the wreckage of my vehicle and the smoke, we better run sideways, on foot into the open area without cover. surely my helmet and vest will protect me against the thing that just destroyed the armored vehicle."

Japan has a suspiciously high conviction rate though (>99%). They either don't even go for criminals they are not sure about or there's some form of tampering going on. Hard to say.
