In the end I don’t think internet users in rich powerful countries are the users most likely to benefit and invest their time into in the fediverse. They might be the ones with the most free time, money and privilege around computers which makes being on the leading edge of niche technologies far easier, but I don’t think...
One of my most hated things in the dying days of Reddit is people having to put the /s because of all the mass down voting from users that didn't get a post was a joke....
They're all tone indicators, since you can't communicate voice tone over text.
/s stands for sarcasm, sometimes /srs is used for serious, I'm not too sure what the others stand for but those are the most frequently used from what I've seen
I remember that when I used Geometric Weather (not developed anymore, its more known fork is called Breeze Weather) it had a option to notify me when it was going to rain, but know that functionality was removed from Breeze Weather, it's there any other app with this functionality?
Seconding Breezy, the app is way better than my phone's (OnePlus 9p) default weather app. They also have a wide variety of widgets, including some with Material You theming for Android 13+.
The DS did have an IR sensor but (I'm pretty sure, don't quote me too hard here) a majority of the local communication was using either wifi or a proprietary wireless connection using the wifi antenna/chip.
I specifically remember Pokemon Black/White having an IR quick-trade option where you had to put 2 DS's back-to-back and being really confused about it because it seemed useless since it took so long to actually work.

The countries with the most Fediverse servers are rich and former/current colonial powers. One of the best true barometers of the success of the Fediverse is how quickly we can turn that on its head. ( sopuli.xyz )

Why is the /s necessary here as well?
