Yeah, I agree with the sentiment, but I feel like the methods are pointless and even might have a reverse effect. Doing this does nothing really to help the cause, imo. Any minimal publicity it gets, I feel, just invigorates the right leaning conservatives to have more fuel to hate "the left" and "liberals". I just don't see any benefit to these types of stunts.

There's a lot of wealthy oligarchs living in luxury who wouldn't want their lifestyles threatened/ended by nuclear war. Similarly, Putins chain of command can't be poor and dumb. They also have comparable luxury and lifestyles, and are smart enough to understand that nuclear war most probably would end everything they have. Putin himself is an umpteen billionaire.

Just sayin', these people that control the nukes have the most to lose if they use 'em.

Much more than just capitalism, right? Like that, plus our entire culture, generations of propaganda and indoctrination. All of our power structures, political, financial, military, media, education.

Yeah I mostly agree with you. Except there was plot and lore in 2016, it was just minimalist as you said, but more importantly it was executed really well. It had the "doom" feel. In addition to awesome gameplay and soundtrack.

Eternal was great for the gameplay, and even an improvement in some ways. The lore and plot was ridiculous though. Way overdone, didn't feel like doom.

I say go back to 2016 style with the gameplay improvements of eternal.

Nah my comparison is to 2016. I just thought it was overdone in eternal to the point of silliness. Subjective opinion obviously.

It wasn't all bad though. The introduction to the "evil twin" doomguy was kinda fun. So if no DLC you missed that at least.

I guess maybe if the extreme overwork overtime is a means to an end by getting money, retire early, get experience to find a more reasonable job... I guess maybe some can justify it. Maybe. There's probably some who feel forced due to desperate circumstances.

Idk. I hate this overworked overtime culture.
