You know you're winning the war when you start locking up teenagers who question it...

TachyonTele ,

I finally saw one in real life. On the highway. It's shocking how aggressively dumb they look in person. Photos don't do it justice. It seriously looks like a giant unrendered N64... thing.

TachyonTele ,

This is the type of bs that should be in a Shower Thoughts comm.

But if a cypto-bro is making up making fun of a Tesla car, at least that's progress.

You can make significant money by trading crypto peer-to-peer. It is incredibly risky but you can make around 6-7% profit after fees. I made around 2,000-3,000 USD monthly, moving around 40,000 USD in volume. The main risks are chargebacks and account closures.

I don't know. You tell me.

TachyonTele , (edited )

Lmao I'm not even going to bother with any of that BS you just typed, it's so ridiculous.

"I move 40 grand around in crypto all the time, but I'm totally not a crypto bro. The risks are just that's it's bullshit that gets accounts closed"

I'm sorry man. But you are legit a crypto bro, and apparently a pretty scummy one at that. Guess I was the one you had to hear it from.

Be better.

TachyonTele ,

Catch and release

TachyonTele ,

Remind us. How much money have you spent on crypto?

TachyonTele ,

Lmao! You're just going to totally disregard what you said yesterday about making money off it?

Love it.

I made around 2,000-3,000 USD monthly, moving around 40,000 USD in volume.

People would ask me to sell them crypto and then I’d buy it on a crypto exchange and then sell it to them.

Are you on drugs?

TachyonTele ,

Cool story, bro. Hope it works out for you.

Firefox 127's private window handling angers users ( www.theregister.com )

There used to be an option called browser.privateWindowSeparation.enabled, which ever since Firefox 106 back in October 2022 resulted in separate taskbar icons for normal and private Firefox windows. In version 127, this option has gone away, removed in this code change. Users complained on Mozilla's forums and on Reddit at the...

TachyonTele ,

What browser did your hypothetical dad and nephew switch to?

TachyonTele ,

Ah ok, I didn't realize you were making a joke.

TachyonTele ,

"Wait. I can see where they're looking at from this far away. That means... Oh man."

TachyonTele ,

There technically has always been natural plastic. Polymers. Rubber is an obvious one. But chitin, DNA, silk, sulfer can become plastic, etc are all polymers.

"Achully-ness" aside. It would be wild to find a plastic based insect. It would probably finally unite all of humanity against a singular cause. I doubt we have enough bombs though.

TachyonTele ,

I have to ask, what's the point of a blank reply?

TachyonTele ,

Considering I have no problem seeing gifs from anyone else, and my question has been up voted by other people, it's more than likely to be an issue with fedia.io and not lemm.ee (which is hosted by one of the Lemmy devs)

TachyonTele ,

I agree. It's bound to happen, life tends to take advantage of any situation available.

You've got an interesting idea regarding future generations. I can totally see that happing. Nice thought

TachyonTele ,

I hope fedia finds a solution.

TachyonTele ,

There's a very functional middle ground between all in one cable, and a hundred different services.

TachyonTele ,

Do you think the style is supposed to show him as ugly?

TachyonTele ,

You're not wrong. But you're like nine years late on this one.

TachyonTele ,

34 felonies at that :)

TachyonTele ,

That's pretty bad. It's like calling people "the talent".

TachyonTele ,

Same. Yet another internet comic just blatantly stealing from another one.

TachyonTele ,

That's not what happens when people use the same word bubbles or images and change them.

TachyonTele ,

the original isn't well known

This comic got called out immediately by multiple people

TachyonTele ,

Would have sex

TachyonTele ,

... because it's obviously ripping it off?

TachyonTele ,

How can it be a parody if the original isn't well known?

TachyonTele ,

I love the rollercoaster of your comments in this post. It's a good laugh. Enjoy your day and stay cool out there.

TachyonTele , (edited )

Yes. Try and keep up with the context of the conversation.

It helps if you follow what's going on.

TachyonTele , (edited )

Seriously? If you're unable to follow the conversation then don't chime in.

Your little "gotcha!" comments are just showing how much you have no idea what's been said.

TachyonTele ,

You. Are. An. Idiot.

Good bye.

TachyonTele , (edited )

Look man. You took a comment completely out of context with the rest of the conversation. And you've now double-downed on it for more than one day. Even after telling you that you're missing the context you are still still being a moron about it.

I cannot express how fucking stupid you continue to be. I'm almost impressed, except that I hate there are people like you on this website. How do you follow conversations in real life? By picking and choosing random sentences and not letting it go for hours?

Fuck off. And don't come back.

Wikipedia declares Anti-Defamation League 'unreliable' on Israel, antisemitism: Report ( www.middleeasteye.net )

Wikipedia's editors voted to declare the Anti-Defamation League "generally unreliable" on Israel and Palestine as well as the issue of antisemitism, adding the organisation to a list of banned sources, according to a report by the Jewish Telegraph Agency (JTA)....

TachyonTele ,

Thier actual news reporting is basically fine. It's the other 90% of their content that's all talking heads that blatantly lies about everything where the problems come in.

I have a relative that only watched the channel. When the actual news segments come it's like a wave of fresh air. But then it very quickly changes to the talking heads bullshit.

I'd never willingly watch any of it though.

Supermassive black hole roars to life as astronomers watch in real time ( arstechnica.com )

In December 2019, astronomers were surprised to observe a long-quiet galaxy, 300 million light-years away, suddenly come alive, emitting ultraviolet, optical, and infrared light into space. Far from quieting down again, by February of this year, the galaxy had begun emitting X-ray light; it is becoming more active. Astronomers...

I think Muse is still touring. We can see them play this album.

Yum, plastic clouds

Air hockey > sex with office dogs

TachyonTele , (edited )

If they're allergic to dogs, yes. Like wat

TachyonTele ,

How do you know? You're disgusting!

TachyonTele , (edited )

I don't know. You seem to know a lot about where having dog sex fits on a scale of enjoyment... Hmmm

TachyonTele ,

Diddle a doodle a day, keeps the...

Hold on, someone's at my door. Brb

TachyonTele ,

I'm just kidding with ya. Oh well

TachyonTele ,

It was a weak (and weird) attempt on my part. You're absolutely fine.

TachyonTele ,

Thank you my friend. Enjoy your weekend!
