Jokes on them - all of my content is both free and ad free. 🏴‍☠️🦜🏴‍☠️

StupidBrotherInLaw ,

So THIS is what the communists were talking about when they told me about the benefits of transitioning to a cacheless society!

StupidBrotherInLaw ,

What a class A moron. You can't even respond to a single thing they say, so it's just "mental diarrhea". Every one of your comments is evading their points so hard, your mental gymnastics would qualify you for the Special Olympics if they didn't have a minimum IQ requirement.

StupidBrotherInLaw ,

hating on Israel, wich by definition is antisemitism.

It's official, they're trolling. No one is this stupid... Right?

StupidBrotherInLaw ,

Trolling or just a dumbass?

StupidBrotherInLaw ,

Definitely, but it's mostly twenty to thirty somethings, some forties. My wife and I are nearly in our fifties and occasionally make a fake account to whatever service is big that year/decade to see what we've been missing. We don't feel like we're missing much.

A buddy of ours of similar age is a widower and, after many years, has decided to try dating again. He's meeting women but has variable results. I can't say he's having better or worse dates than when meeting people in person, but he's having a lot more of all the dates, so it's like they're more concentrated.

StupidBrotherInLaw ,

We gave a shit back then too, they just were different words that we cared about.

StupidBrotherInLaw ,

You're got to be kidding. The post is about right to work laws. It includes a summary of what that means, plus links for more information. So you downvoted because OP didn't compare and contrast two unrelated laws or write a dissertation on how right to work laws vary by state/county/city. Laws that by definition literally only do one thing. This shit is why people don't post more.

To highlight how ridiculous your comment is, I'll help OP out and provide what you found to be so lacking. I know this is going to make OP look pretty bad, so I'm sure they'll provide at least a partial refund of what you paid for their post.

At-will employment: you can be fired for anything not protected by law.

Right to work laws: employees in unionized workplaces cannot negotiate employment contracts which require that non union employees must pay union dues.

Compare: they are applied to employees
Contrast: neither does anything similar

For my next trick, I'll provide specific relevant application for local law scenarios by state.

Alabama: employees in unionized workplaces cannot negotiate employment contracts which require that non union employees must pay union dues

Arkansas: employees in unionized workplaces cannot negotiate employment contracts which require that non union employees must pay union dues

Georgia: employees in unionized workplaces cannot negotiate employment contracts which require that non union employees must pay union dues

StupidBrotherInLaw ,

Can you describe the extremism left of spectrum?

Honest question, not JAQing off, and I won't jump down your throat no matter what you say.

StupidBrotherInLaw ,

It's all so melodramatic. I'll take a jaunt into the comments sections of these posts once in awhile to see what the libs are clutching their pearls over now. Today we have:

Oh nooooo, a dev is a ban happy shithead! How unusual and extreme! Better raise the banner and gather the troops, the tankies are coming for us all! We must defederate and/or fork a parallel Lemmy because only tankies have weird ban happy power trips! This will solve all the issues!

On the bright side, block op and the surprisingly small number of the other more vocal tankie drama lords and it gets a lot quieter.

StupidBrotherInLaw ,

I'm following too. This vinegary vaginal lavage showed up four days ago, spread a thin layer of their personal brand of idiocy everywhere, and has now disappeared. Maybe they've fucked off back to some dark hole on Reddit? We can only hope.

This is an alert from the Summer's Eve Emergency Broadcast System. This is not a test. I repeat, this is not a test.

Reddit has experienced a Level Spez douche release which impacted Lemmy.world approximately 96 hours ago. Lemmy users may observe increased douche activity, including but not limited to: unjustified smugness, irrelevant and erroreous corrections, bad arguments, ego fragility, unwarranted hostility, and assorted douchebaggery. Users are advised to remain calm, refrain from engaging encountered douches in serious conversation, and to liberally use the block feature.

Ava Louise, the woman who had gluteal implants and now has an ass so big that she can't fit into regular seats or clothing. Humans are fucking weird.

StupidBrotherInLaw ,

This response is so dumb, reading it has actually managed to make me measurably stupider.

StupidBrotherInLaw ,

What is the point of your question? It's based on a completely useless, asinine observation. I guess what I'm asking is, are you trying to start shit or are you profoundly dim?

StupidBrotherInLaw ,

That would certainly explain why I find shaved crotches prepubescent and weird.

StupidBrotherInLaw ,

You're being reductionist to the point of losing the actual point but, if we assume you're doing so in good faith, then yes. Without a doubt yes. Given a choice between a person's feelings being hurt and a person getting physically hurt, the latter should win, especially when the only reason those feelings are hurt is because the person refuses to try to understand why or is so fragile they're unable to handle criticism.

Most men I know aren't made uncomfortable by this and, so far, the only ones who do have their feelings hurt are absolutely the ones women should choose the bear over. Not because they're bad people, but because an important point is being made and instead of trying to understand, they dig their heels in, refuse to understand, and now gripe about being victims because people are talking about things they don't want to think about.

StupidBrotherInLaw ,

You sure need a lot of straw men to make your point.

Your entire string of arguments here is again proving why the bear is the right choice. You're so fragile, you can't even respond honestly to a hypothetical situation. I can only imagine how you'd respond in an actual crisis when faced with something your porcelain ego perceives as threatening.

StupidBrotherInLaw ,

"Anything I don't like is a tankie", Lemmy politics equivalent to the right wing's use of woke.

Followed by the 30,000x version of "they wouldn't have died if they just did what the police told them!"

Disable tracking on Chevy Bolt 2019 ( sh.itjust.works )

OnStar reports location and speed data to the car manufacturer. Sometimes they will sell this data to insurance companies to raise your premium, as several news stores pointed out a few weeks ago. I couldn't really find an advantage to OnStar, (I have my phone to call emergency services) so I disabled it by pulling it's fuse....

StupidBrotherInLaw ,

They all do it, to varying extents. The only good way to avoid it is buying a car old enough to not collect your data.
