A laymans opinion on the challenge: Waves lose energy, and the exact placement of antennas will matter. I don't know what the mechanism is called, but we don't place wind turbines right next to each other. That is afaik because each turbine takes some of the energy out of a larger chunk of the wind-wave in an 'bubble' around it, so we place them with optimal distance according to efficiency of that mechanism. If I'm right the effect will probably be minimal.
Anyway, just a stab at an interesting thought..

I'm old. Once upon a time 'screen savers' were used for ..saving screens, I swear it's the truth :-) I would've bet money on screensavers disappearing when CRT monitors did, but that certainly did not happen. It exploded. I kind of expect that someone by now have created a screensaver ..plugin for another screensaver..

Not picking on you, just feeling old suddenly. I tried searching for 2024 all-time insane screensavers but only found this 13yo one from vsauce: iv.melmac.space/watch?v=zwX95UaKCRg

..but I'm curios what have happened in 13 years, so if any lurkers know better search-fu, please add..

You need more than a llm to do that. You need a Cognitive Architecture around the model that include RAG to store/retrieve the data. I would start with an agent network (CA) that already includes the workflow you ask for. This seemed to be read-only tho, so not sure if it covers the use case you described. If you can program a little (AI help?) find a simple fuse filesystem in a language you know, fiddle with it and call ffmpeg or similar on receiving files.

This opens up for 'AI Psychology' and for direct manipulation of internal states related to preferences and interactivity, a.k.a 'emotions', 'focus', bias etc. It should also be able to mimic MOE models where each 'expertise' is done here by direct manipulation of weights. It can also learn to some extent without training, so its a new fine tuning technique and it definitely shows an internal world map for concepts etc.

Curios if similar neuronal patterns are available in all models with this method, or if the method were optimized for Anthropic models.

..oc it also opens up for manipulative use by corporations. I.e we will probably quickly see commercial models that inflate users ego by exaggerating how amazing the users insights are, or recommending Corp interests - all hidden for the user, and just to profit from the $!@ model.

streaming or torrenting today vs. 5 years ago

I've been a good boy for 5 years or so but the seas call to me. Are streaming sites the way to go now or is torrenting still a better bet for mainstream movies and tv? I'd imagine all of my accounts have been deleted on those sites so I'd be starting over.

I feel hustled, bc I recommended Signal to others :-( However, ANY contact with the US elite is a clear sign of the NSA/CIA/NED propaganda/spying network. I think It is safest for everyone, to voluntarily adopt the Russian, Chinese, Iranian, etc blocklist/firewall of western big-tech propaganda and spy methods, and seek out trustworthy open source. Oc Lemmy/federation as well as any other point of contact with the commoners are valid targets for these guy's, but a minimum of defense like that seems to be the only way to keep the US Capitalist elite out of our lives.

Creative! Maybe an idea for a foss python library/app ? It would be lovely to have a library/app that looks at a crowdsourced list of scum corps and what counter measures exists to migrate from them to any number of free non-capitalist services !

Atmo, we have de-google, de-m$, de-crapple and so on, but it's a huge work to de-capitalize your life. We need to make that process simpler by automating it.
