The theory is simple: instead of buying a household item or a piece of clothing or some equipment you might use once or twice, you take it out and return it.
Only idiots deal in absolutes. This whole bear thing is just a succesful attempt to throw yarn to keep you distracted from the parasites that have been draining your blood.
Seen a lot of posts on Lemmy with vegan-adjacent sentiments but the comments are typically very critical of vegan ideas, even when they don't come from vegans themselves. Why is this topic in particular so polarising on the internet? Especially since unlike politics for example, it seems like people don't really get upset by it...
During the last 'election summer' things went haywire but ultimately nothing meaningful really happened, and not a whole lot really changed as a result of that unrest. This time things are going haywire again, and it seems like something big will happen but people thought that the last time... Would it just be better to ignore...
Media feed you don't control, is made to steer you in a certain direction. Unless you have an active interest in improving something and trying to filter through lies, its just noise that won't affect you much.
