I’m just a weird, furry, pan guy (cis he/him). I also have a big, blue username.

I’m learning Japanese so sometimes I might write something out in romaji just to practice. Please correct it if it’s wrong!

Wasn't it basically a portable "My Documents" folder? It would sync up online, right? Or at least was easier to copy to a floppy, cd, or USB drive? I never actually used it but I always assumed that's what it was for since it appeared in Windows once the Internet started being a major thing.

Where do y'all recommend looking to find no-disc game patches in general?

Mostly asking because I've never used these before due to never needing to. That, and I have a few old disc based PC games that I'd love to be able to straight up boot without the game disc. These are games I could just pirate, but I figure I already own them in disc, so I'd rather see if there are any reputable places with...

Man, I can't believe that site is still going. It was always my first choice for no-cds when games actually still came on CD/DVDs.

You are mad at the person who said that, upon hearing them say it, for being wrong and then made a post about it which is the appropriate response.

Seems it's possible to me. You've just done it, OP.

When responding to a comment with multiple points, should one create a new thread (new comment) for each point, or should one make a single large comment containing individual responses to all points?

I encounter situations like this rather often where I am responding to a comment that contains many individual points/statements. I typically will respond with a single comment that contains a quote of each point that is being responded to with my response under neath the respective quote — and, sometimes, for added clarity, a...

Generally you make a single reply that covers everything you wanna say. Making multiple replies to the same thing is considered rude and spammy.

Kolanaki ,
@Kolanaki@yiffit.net avatar

I don't think so. It just clutters things up and makes referencing the points and counter-points later more difficult if they're all spread out in multiple replies instead of just 1.

I went back to FireFox way back when the announcement of V3 killing adblockers in chromium first was made. I could go without everything else a browser offers, as long as it has ad blocking.

I legit want AR glasses for the same thing; to block ads IRL.

I'm the kind of person that likes stability and not changing things once I am comfortable; if I owned a home, I would not care about its value since I would be planning on staying until I died.

If someone calls you a pussy, the best response is "you are what you eat, dick."

The best comeback to an insult in general is:

"Who is this clown?"

Because it not only calls them a clown, but it infers they aren't even popular enough to be a well-known clown.

I fall asleep super easy if I am watching stuff in VR. The trick appears to be to completely immerse yourself with stimulation until your brain shuts down.

I don't see it. But then, I haven't been on Reddit for almost a whole year now and by all accounts, it's devolved into a right-leaning, bot-filled shitbox even more than it was when I left. The WSB crowd never had a problem with that word before, and by now those are the only type of user truly left there that isn't some kind of AI.

Last few times I had a doctor appointment I was low on Vitamin D. Unsurprising. I don't like being in the sun.

I just started eating more greens and drinking whole milk, as suggested by my doctor because it was just a slight deficiency. I just haven't been to the doctor since to see if it's helping.

I don't think you want to use dead body soup in ag either for the same reason using human waste as fertilizer isn't done.

They do release formic acid which smells rank. But I've only ever smelled it from a large pile of dead ants. Not a few walking around outside or in a house.

"Mutton chops!"

"Hmm... No. Shoot yourself in the head."

Shoots himself in the head

"You! Sideburns or mutton chops?"

Looking at the guy next to him

"Mutton chops!"

I laugh every time I watch one of the Indiana Jones movies because we see Indy get on top of a submarine and then it just shows the map sequence, so one can only assume Jones just rode outside the sub all the way to its destination.

It has more to do with how they do shit than the fact they offered breakfast all day.

None of their competitors have issues serving everything on their menu at any time they are open, but none of those other restaurants are that picky about burgers, sausage patties and eggs being cooked on the same griddle.

The craziest time of day at the McDonald's locations I work at is the switch from breakfast to lunch, because they have to practically transform the kitchen. It's ridiculous.

I like my Sony WH-XB910s. I think I got them on sale though; they were only like $120 when I picked them up but I think they're normally about $200.
