I have a very slow Internet connection (5 Mbps down, and even less for upload). Given that, I always download movies at 720p, since they have low file size, which means I can download them more quickly. Also, I don't notice much of a difference between 1080p and 720p. As for 4K, because I don't have a screen that can display 4K,...
Maybe you're not noticing the difference between 720p to 1080p is due to the decoding used. The rips with a lower file size often get there by means of compression, and some uploaders (such as YIFY) heavily compress the videos to where I don't even notice much of a difference, however I'm going to assume you're not downloading the 3GB (average size for HQ) 1080p film.
Then again eyesight plays a role along with display.
I wouldn't bother with 4K usually, however once I upgraded to a 1440 monitor downscaling from 4K actually provides a fair bump in overall sharpness and detail (some films more than others), however the file size is usually over 10GB per film.
Different people feel comfortable with different names. For a while, and still today, many people refer to it as High Functioning Autism however many people find offense in using that term for themselves.
At the end of the day it is an autism diagnosis, and simply saying Autism often works fine. Most of the time I say I have Autism as it makes things easier for others if I don't go on long explanations. For what it's worth I was diagnosed as having Asperger's Syndrome many years ago (in 2004), however I personally find no offense in the term 'high functioning autism' though only because it fits my own self.
I remember when all of my friends would laugh at the iPod Nano, when it released as being super thin, due to all the people accidentally sitting on them or other easy ways in which they broke.
I would prefer it if manufacturers made phones with smaller screens, so I can actually use it with one hand without some janky workaround (like right/left handed modes on Google Keyboard).
I know older titles are usually the topic in this community but a lot of the popular f2p games are getting pretty old now too, and if you're like me you've been curious about some of them and even pleasantly surprised now and again....

Many people here are being incredibly pedantic about the words "social media", forgetting entirely that "social media" is a term invented to describe a certain type of website. Forums existed before the term was being widely used, for example, and whilst they would fit a dictionary definition of the words within the term they were always considered a separate entity to what was established as being 'social media' (e.g.: Myspace, Bebo, Facebook, etc.).
There was nothing futuristic about the scripts in the current season, just the characters and settings. Like they've just been covering current topics of 2023, and on top of that the episodes feel more like a generic animated sitcom.
The season just seems to have the feel of old Futurama completely stripped, and replaced with Hulu branding.
Am I the only one preferring low quality media over high quality one?
