I know Citadel Hill in Halifax and the Fortress of Louisbourg have entrance fees but they also have reenactment there. Citadel Hill only charges during tourist season. Not sure if Louisbourg charges year round or not. I suspect that the fees are tied to how many staff and how much maintenance or other extras are present.

Ignore him, warn others about him and Ann. This is problematic behaviour. Especially since they seem to be acting in concert.

I don't know if they'll retaliate. I would prepare for that, though. Whatever you do, do not give them more ability to contact you. Try to keep records and keep it professional with Ann until you are out of the position. Once you are in the new job, it will be easier to distance yourself from them. And if Ann starts shit after you have started, it will be easier for you to point her out as the instigator.

The situation sucks, and I hope you have a better and easier time going forward. But it sounds like Ned and Ann are predators, and should be outed as such.

You are seriously are doubling down on defending people who sexually assault people. No consent is assault and that can get you jail time.

The pig was in a position of power and is supposed to be better than the average person.

I'm not defaming him, as it's my opinion that he is a pig and deserves jail time for his actions.

Edit: either a lot of people don't know what defamation is, or they are hand waving sexual assault.

I was in the middle of something in another room and it occurred to me that this familiar expression could be adapted for ADHD: A watched pot never catches fire. Good reminder to exercise a little extra caution in the everyday tasks that get boring but are still dangerous if you get complacent. Driving, cooking, poking around...

  • Stay away from locks with barrel keys.
  • Choose a locking device that isn't easily cut/broken/defeated.
  • Have a way to pass your lock through your front wheel AND frame as well as what you are locking it to.
  • Don't lock up to signs.
  • Make sure what you are locking to can't be easily moved (preferably bolted or sunk into concrete slabs)
  • Don't block pathways

ADHD is becoming more understood as more studies are conducted, and more people get informed so they can get a diagnosis.

While you'll probably find that there are a lot of commonalities between people that have ADHD there are 3 main sub categories, and each individual who deals with it will be a little different from their fellow neurodivergent homies.
