I'd say that's close but more like they've concerned themselves with helping the wealthy and need to import more workers due to low fertility and as a way to suppress wages.
So now there isn't enough housing and everyone starts struggling more because social programs have been underfunded for years and strain to the brink due to the greater load.
At the very start of the COVID fueled housing crisis I remember the former housing minister going on about needing to protect "Mom and Pop" landlords. It drove me insane and him being removed made me smile for days.
I wonder how the pilots of these drones feel? It seems so much less personal killing this way. I can only assume PTSD would be less of a problem at least
