I mean yeah, but specifically I'd like something built for Linux that's good for just basic spreadsheet stuff. I'm an electrician so I mostly just need to track jobs and accounts.
Side note: anyone got recommendations for business software? I've started browsing the FOSS community here for ideas but I'm not sure what QuickBooks alternatives exist
That is very real. I'm in rural Appalachia and definitely adopted some turns of phrase after using them ironically. I find myself actually saying "howdy" with a straight face now.

Nosferatu: a clan of deformed sewer-dwelling vampires who run intelligence/black market type stuff and have notoriously poor social skills
Toreador: an allied clan of vampires that are very high society stereotypically, with an ingrained appreciation for art and beauty. Typically very pretty. Surprisingly dangerous when provoked, though.
Anarchs: unaligned vampires with an anarchist motif
I just say "all kinds of stuff. Depends on my mood." Sometimes I like wacky metal, sometimes I'm over it. Same goes for outlaw country or hip hop or punk or whatever.
Language would be a great option, too. I find all the non-English posts interesting in a puzzle sort of way, but honestly I don't need them.
I find my process for tailoring Lemmy to be the opposite of mine for Reddit. Reddit, I compiled a list of communities I was actively interested in and avoided /all entirely. Here, I'm always on All, and would rather just narrow down what "all" means.
