“According to data on political lobbying (charts below), the Israel lobby has spent about two percent (2%) of US foreign aid to Israel on political persuasion inside the US since 1948. In US dollar terms, this is $6 billion spent by the Israel lobby to get $280 billion in US foreign aid for Israel. And while this ratio isn’t far from what the US ‘defense’ industry and other corporate pleaders get for their ‘investment’ in American politicians, most of the money that Israel receives from the US is used to buy weapons and materiel from American suppliers.”
The thing about the "Israel wants Trump" argumemt is that I think what #Israel wants even more than #Trump is to not have a #US#POTUS be seen to lose reelection for supporting Israel.
And I don't say that as some kind of checkmate, just a consideration I haven't seen brought up before.
“Everything about Israel is fake. It’s a completely synthetic nation created without any regard for the organic sociopolitical movements of the land and its people, slapped rootless atop an ancient pre-existing civilization with deep roots. That’s why it cannot exist without being artificially propped up by nonstop propaganda, lobbying, online influence operations, and mass military violence.”
I'm so fed up with mods falling for the #aipac "holocaust inversion" bullshit, I'm going to start reporting all #Israel apologist posts as "supporting violent ideologies."
Mayors, police chiefs, and university heads have defended their violent attacks on student protests by claiming “outside agitators” are the cause of unrest. This racist trope was used during the civil rights movement and is equally obscene today.
"True. But you gotta give it to them... they were very good at stealing UN money to fund their terrorist organization."

If you say that Hamas freedom fighters got more buck$ from the UN than #Irgun#JDL#IDF terrorists from #AIPAC then back your claim with source links. Otherwise, you're just a liar.
"It's our duty to fight back," said Rep. Summer#Lee, arguing that no super PAC "should be able to drop millions to usurp the conversation for their agenda."
"Israel is fighting a just and necessary war," asserted U.S. Senator from Arkansas, #TomCotton, in support of Israel continuing its genocide in Gaza.
The Senator also suggested that "the House has no choice but to impeach #Biden over delayed Israel aid." This highlights the extent to which U.S. senators supported by #AIPAC funding are willing to go to ensure Israel remains armed with U.S. weaponry.
#US / AIPAC urges Biden admin to reverse Israel weapons shipment freeze
[Pro-genocide/Israel lobby] #AIPAC called on Congress to challenge the #Biden administration to reverse its decision to pause a shipment of bombs to Israel given concerns over #Rafah, offering its sharpest criticism of Biden's policy to date.
"Delaying this arms transfer is a dangerous and counterproductive message. It emboldens Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah, and undermines America's commitments to all our allies. Congress must demand the Biden Admin reverse this delay and ensure Israel has what it needs to win this war,”
