Apple has silenced employees who have spoken out for Palestine and shown bias toward Israel through statements and actions. In the process it has lost all credibility as a company that claims to believe in racial equity or social justice.
@mondoweiss
All credibility is stretching it a bit. "All credibility in the eyes of those who actively consider Palestinians human beings" seems more appropriate because there are plenty of those who don't. @palestine@israel
"... there are reasonable grounds to believe that Israel is committing the international ‘crime of all crimes’: that of genocide."
"... while our government has called for a ceasefire, they refuse to name Israel’s crimes or take the material action many have called for under international law, including implementing sanctions and throwing our weight behind a global arms embargo. As Palestinian human rights lawyer Rabea Eghbariah asked in a 2023 essay commissioned but then censured by Harvard Law Review, “does one have to wait for a genocide to be successfully completed to name it?” "
Armed Israeli settlers [who are living in the West Bank against Israeli law and international law] are destroying the pump that brings water to the Palestinian village of Umm Al-Khair south of Hebron. Temperatures will reach 101° tomorrow.

Ces ordures sont le mal incarné. Ils sont juifs. Mais les dénoncer pour ce qu'ils font relève de l'antisémitisme ....

@appassionato Looks like firefighting foam. It's perhaps toxic with long term or continuous exposure... I mean they aren't gonna use CS Tear Gas on these people. It's poisonous to the nervous system... or pepper spray. It hurts. FireHosing, a la the southern US during the civil rights movement, can cause physical damage. They're saving all that for #Palestinians. @photography@palestine

Nutanyahu wants another war the people don't. The court sides with Nutanyahu. Guess how his criminal trial will go?
Complicity in genocide is not confined to the Israeli right. Members of the liberal organization that spearheaded the anti-Netanyahu protests last year are now blocking humanitarian aid to Gaza.
"transitive. To exert influence upon, to affect by influence." (OED)
The term "influenced" means having an effect on the character, development, or behaviour of someone or something. When used in a context where it doesn't refer to being a singular cause, it implies that the effect is part of a broader set of factors contributing to an outcome.
[1/4] WARNING: Many are unaware of the magnitude of the disaster. The Israeli army has now released a statement identifying areas that need to be evacuated. The "Red" area is extensive and home to hundreds of thousands who returned to their homes with the start of the Rafah invasion. However, what is concealed in this map are areas where Israeli tanks are present: the southern area of Rafah, part of Al-Mawasi, and the northern area near Netzarim.
[1/3] This means that a large part of the so-called "humanitarian" zone is adjacent to dangerous conflict zones due to the presence of Israeli tanks (the yellow misleading area).
The Israeli army is attempting to deceive the world by not providing complete information and not conveying the true reality. This map implies the use of displaced people as human shields to protect its soldiers and military equipment in the Rafah and Netzarim axis.
[3/3] The current situation is far more dangerous than the Rafah invasion due to the overcrowding of displaced people in a much smaller area compared to before the Rafah invasion.
