I laughed and my partner ask why. I told her it’s some really nerdy humor. She was fine not hearing the joke, but I loosely explained it anyway. She humored me anyway. She’s a good woman.

So, essentially, really poorly written malware? Given the number of assumptions it makes without any sort of robustness around system configuration it's about as good as any first-pass bash script.

It'd be a stretch to call it malware, it's probably an outright fabrication to call it a virus.

I think Python gets a point here, as it is very good at doing what it was created for.
Javascript even sucks at its stated goal.

Brave being listed alongside Firefox

Bestie Brave is literally just Chromium again. Not to mention the fact that their CEO is someone who got ousted from Firefox for being a tremendous bigot. It's not a better alternative to Chrome, it's just the same thing again. It you must use a chromium browser, use ungoogled.

A highly compatible design with no ads, unnecessary images, videos, animations, scripts that goes straight to point delivering you exactly the information you need and nothing else? Something that's easily accessible even with old feature phones allowing older people to get information easily?
Simply something that loads instantly and just works?

Who would want that?
