In actuality - Adam Sandler needs $XX Million dollars because Netflix has poor taste in talent and would be willing to sacrifice at least 20 shows to be pulled from it's cycle to make this work.
Sandler's goofy, weird speaking & mannerisms worked when he was 20. They don't work now that he's an aging middle aged man. He just seems... Idk man, I don't have a better word for it. He just seems retarded.
would love this but there are some serious problems with some of the actors apparently.
Also appears that Allen Covert, the star, is doing more behind the camera work these days. But considering how very on point the movie was deriding the game industry, a return to the universe could be fun.
Welcome to modern media, where nothing is new and everything is a "reboot" or a "sequel". you'll get regurgitated slop passed between a few media conglomerates and if anything actually ends up decent it'll be canned and wiped from the earth before anyone can see it.
I recently found out there are actually multiple entries into the megamind franchise, including at least one new feature length movie and a tv series. None of which have any members of the voice actors from the masterpiece that is the original film, and all of which have some of the worst ratings I've ever seen on review sites.
I wouldn't put Face the Music on the same level as Excellent Adventure, but I liked it as much as Bogus Journey. Alex Winter got back into the role of Bill so easily it was almost concerning.
I was a huge Kevin smith fan as a kid. But…clerks 3? Is it really worth it? I could get into enjoying some of it again, but I just, yknow, inferred it’d be bad.
The second they (hollywood) fucked with The Three Stooges I knew they have no boundaries they won't cross. Want to bet they attempt to A.I Bob Barker for another fight scene?
Dante Hicks: "Empire" had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings.
