I've been earwormed by this song a lot and I love the translation of the delightful lyrics, but I'm going to write the title as "Gender Queer" going forward as that is more faithful to the lyrics than the literal title "雌雄同體" (by 五月天/Mayday) and the English translation of that phrase is potentially offensive to intersex people.
@ChasMusic@music@lgbtqia@linguistics Wow, what a track! I went down to a huge demonstration for marriage law reform when I was in Taipei teaching English. Like the crowd just went on forever, completely packed, and yet it was somehow a very calming atmosphere.
Found it a bit hard to get out of my foreign teacher cultural bubble, so it's nice to come across this stuff later that went over my head before.
