I'm the exact opposite: when I was still coding for work, that was when the curses flowed forth like a majestic waterfall, but I've always loved working on my own projects and don't mind adversity and mistakes at all
My sister played the crap out of Journey, she'd hang around the first area until another player showed up, then guide them through the game, showing the stranger all the secrets she knew, tracing hearts into the sand and such.
The embroidery on the robes actually becomes more elaborate as you find more secrets in the game, so she realized she could tell new players from experienced ones, and would guide players or look to learn from them accordingly.
She got the white robe without ever looking up where to find the symbols for it, just finding other players who'd show her where to look.
Pro-tip: These bikes usually come with little to no grease in the bottom bracket, headset, and front hub. I would recommend overhauling them sooner rather than later if you want the bearings to last.
Overhaul as in pull the bearings out, clean them with degreaser, then inspect them. If the bearings are not pitted and the retainer isn't bent out of shape, you can reuse them. If they are messed up, they are very cheap to replace, many bike shops will have replacements on hand. Once you have cleaned or gotten new bearings, pack the cups they sit in full of grease, and reassemble. Typically bearing retainers will have a side that is more rounded and a side that is more flat, you usually want to put them into the cup rounded side facing in.
Once you have it back together, you want to adjust it. The goal is to have the bearings be as loose as possible while not having any play in them. You also want to make sure the locknut is tight against the cone.
I have a "turn off the laser pointer" routine with my cat - nothing crazy, I just bring the pointer up right next to her and cover the dot, turn it off, and then pick it up and let her smell the end. The specifics don't matter, but she knows that that routine means the laser pointer goes away, and a physical toy comes out next to give her something to actually catch.
I don't give a flying fuck about whether I'm using Gecko or WebKit. Both are open-source.
As for why I'm using Firefox over Safari, it gives me better tracking protection than vanilla Safari, it allows me to use SearXNG, and it means I can set a custom homepage. Also, for some reason, Safari has no private mode on my phone.
Not to mention that Mozilla is working on a Gecko-based version of the browser, as Apple is being forced by the EU to allow sideloading, third-party app stores, and third-party browser engines.
Except you've actually changed nothing. Apple forces all third party browsers on their devices to use WebKit (the Safari engine) for the backend, so really all changing browsers does is give you a reskin under Apple's thumb.
Actually, I have. It gives me better tracking protection than vanilla Safari, it allows me to use SearXNG, and it means I can set a custom homepage. Also, for some reason, Safari has no private mode on my phone.

While Gecko should absolutely be made available for iPhone, it's worth noting there's nothing wrong with WebKit per se. It's open source (forked from KHTML), servers as the base for among others the GNOME Web browser, and is not a monopoly player (outside of iPhones).
In some messed up way, Apple's WebKit insistance has helped competition in the browser market by making sure there's at least one popular platform where Blink is not dominating...
Damn, I never saw it that way. In that regard the EU regulation could actually harm the browser market, because it lowers the incentive for service providers to support anything but Chrome. At the moment that would exclude all iPhone users (which hurts business, because that's a lot of users with large pockets). But then they could simply shrug and tell their users to install Chrome. 😐️
In the other way, there are multiple hacky workarounds needed for bugs Apple is too lazy to fix, since everyone has implemented workarounds on their end.
I guess the pendulum swings in both ways.. luckily, there are enough people using firefox on desktop , so that at least gecko is supported basically anywhere (this would still apply to webkit since most iPhone user just use the standard and don’t bother installing alternative browsers, except if their business uses Microsoft which forces you to have edge installed to open links from teams)
Netflix don't make games (for now). They just bought the game's license, remove all IAPs and paywalls, and include it with your Netflix subscription.
Generally it's a good thing. HOWEVER! The way Netflix did it requires the studio to make a complete separate version of the game and give it to Netflix.
So most of the time, it became abandon-ware. Because the separated Netflix version stopped getting updates and bug fixes soon or right after release.
But none of those reasons actually matter here, because any plane is easy to destroy if you don’t properly secure your airbase, and Russia demonstrably kinda sucks at securing their airbases. They tend to rely on the fact that Russia is huge. Which doesn’t help if the people gunning for your shit are highly motivated and can blend relatively effortlessly into your own society.
Just to add to this, every plane is vulnerable while on the ground. It doesn't really matter how stealth an aircraft is if your bombarding the hanger they're in with artillery.
But Russia doesn't even really bother with hangers. This plane was just out in the open, on the fucking tarmac, for God, observers, satellites, and anyone else who cared to see. Even stretching a fucking tent over the aircraft would have at least introduced a certain amount of guesswork to the strike. But no, Russia put "the pride of their airforce" out there for everyone to see and paid the price for it.
